UNSW Soars Up QS University Rankings In The ‘Most Inaccessible University In The World’ Category

Stagnant bus lines and never ending construction has helped UNSW climb 47 places to 11th in the QS World University Rankings for 2017-18 in the ‘Most Inaccessible University in the World’ category.

The result places UNSW as the highest-ranked university in this category, not only in Sydney and New South Wales, but in all of Australia as well.

Professor Ian Jacobs, UNSW President and Vice-Chancellor, said: “With the help of the NSW Transport Minister Andrew Constance, our dream of beating the University of Sydney in every conceivable university ranking has become a reality.”

“We’d like to thank the limitless construction that impedes and prolongs traffic across Anzac Parade and the complimentary bus services that never come on time, if at all.”

NSW Transport Minister Andrew Constance has also praised the exam period for exemplifying the lack of accessability available for UNSW students.

“The crooked SRC of UNSW have spread FAKE NEWS that these bus lines are BAD for UNSW. SAD!!! These students failing to get to their exams on time are actually INCREASING UNSW’s rankings,” he said. “Covfefe.”

UNSW has become the envy of many international students who attend universities that were previously ranked highly in this category.

“Every day I have to walk across the Himalayan mountains in negative temperatures, making sure I don’t slip off the ice and fall to my death while carrying all my textbooks,” said Tony Yu, a student of the University of Nepal, K’un-Lun. “But getting to UNSW sounds pretty bad as well.”
