Student Mistakes Casting Couch Audition For Unpaid Internship Interview

Penultimate commerce student Natalie So knew that something was up after arriving at her interview in a room featuring only a black couch surrounded by white walls and cameras.

“My suspicions began when I saw the interviewer sitting behind a mahogany table with a GoPro strapped to his head,” she told the UNSW Times after the incident.

“I thought he was just saying some corporate bullshit when he told me that I’d have to take up as many jobs as possible, but if I learn to open myself up then I could be receiving loads more work in the future.”

“He got super excited when I told him that I was flexible and open to any positions.”

“I thought he was just gonna make me organize their cash flow statements or some shit that most people actually get paid to do.”
